Friends of the Domaine de Chantilly (FODC) is pleased to announce that its next event is on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Château de Chantilly, one of France’s premiere heritage sites. FODC is hosting an exceptional private tour led by curator Nicole Garnier of the current exhibit “Rembrandt au Musée Condé” in the new Gallery of Prints and Drawings. The semi-annual Flower Show returns to Chantilly May 18th-May 20th. One of the most prestigious events in the horticultural world, over 200 exhibitors congregate on the magnificent grounds of Chantilly and display their plant collections to plant lovers and professionals of the field, giving them the opportunity to purchase plants, gardening tools, and other related merchandise and to attend conferences, workshops, and signings. The theme for the 2018 edition of the show is "Chantilly Favorites," in which exhibitors will present their favorite plant.

The semi-annual autumn edition of the Chantilly Flower Show is going to be held October 19th-21st. The theme is the same as the spring edition of the Flower Show, which is "Chantilly Favorites" with exhibitors showcasing their favorite plant.

After a two year restoration, the private apartments of the Duke and Duchess d'Aumale will reopen to the public on February 23, 2019. These rooms were designed between 1845 and 1847 by Eugène Lami, a skilled painter and decorator originally hired by King Louis-Philippe. The galleries at Chantilly are the only décor of the July Monarchy (1830-1848) that are entirely preserved in France. (The apartments are accessible through guided tours only).
