Once upon a time… the Great Stables

Chantilly’s Great Stables are a masterpiece of early 18th-century art and architecture. Commissioned by Louis-Henri de Bourbon, 7th Prince of Condé (1692 – 1740) from architect Jean Aubert, it was intended to glorify the illustrious House of Bourbon-Condé and to reflect the prince’s passion for horses.

On the 300th anniversary of the Great Stables, Sophie Bienaimé and the riders of the Equestrian Company of the Domaine de Chantilly, will celebrate this occasion through an exceptional equestrian show. During fifteen acts, horses, donkeys and ponies will bring 300 years of history back to life and show their know-how: Haute École,  liberty work, prancing, bowing… The riders of the Equestrian Company and the acrobat Clement Ferron will take you on a journey that will help you to understand the Great Stables.
