DESCRIPTION:The Domaine de Chantilly is hosting the first exhibition ever dedicated to Eugène Lami (1800-1890)\, one of the significant artists and interior decorators of the July Monarchy period. Lami originally worked for Louis-Philippe\, the Duke d’Aumale’s father\, as decorator and portraitist and was a talented watercolorist. \nThis exhibition is supported by Friends of the Domaine de Chantilly and Mr. and Mrs. Ludovic de Montille.
